Jason Vander Griendt – Render 3D Quickly Founder
Jason Vander Griendt, the mechanical engineering and architectural rendering expert behind both Render 3D Quick and J – CAD, Inc., first entered the world of entrepreneurship with the simple goal of earning some additional income while studying at Fanshawe College. In pursuit of this modest goal, Jason founded his first company, J – CAD, Inc., a mechanical design firm. Although the company enjoyed some early success due to Jason’s unique skillset and expertise, it wasn’t until digital marketing reached the mainstream that J – CAD, Inc., began growing at such an exponential rate that Jason had to hire a team of employees to meet the demand for his services.
Jason, known among his peers as something of a visionary, recognized the value in assembling a team of worldwide employees to support his entrepreneurial efforts with J – CAD, Inc. As his company continued to grow, Jason noticed a sharp increase in requests from architects seeking 3D rendering services. Jason again tapped into his entrepreneurial mindset and founded Render 3D Quickly, Inc., a company that would meet the architectural rendering needs of a wide range of clients, including builders, contractors, real estate companies, homeowners, and, of course, architects.
Relying on a lean business plan requiring no capital investment, Render 3D Quickly achieved immediate profitability: Jason and his team created a website and ran a targeted ad campaign that secured clients the same day. Living up to the company’s name, Jason and his team of 30 employees delivered the work before the day’s end, ensuring the marketing spend was paid for while leaving a tidy profit. Thanks the success of both J – CAD, Inc. and Render 3D Quickly, Jason is now able to travel the world while continuing to meet the needs of a diverse client base made up of professionals from all over the world, including the United States, Canada, China, Australia, and Europe.
What do you know about the real estate industry?
As the owner of Render 3D Quickly, I work closely with professionals involved in just about every facet of the real estate industry, especially those who recognize the value of being ahead of the curve when it comes to the use of virtual reality in the real estate and architecture industries.
Have you ever sold real estate? How did you make it happen?
No, not directly at least. I’m certain, however, that the 3D architectural renderings we create for clients play a substantial role in increasing the value of a home while also accelerating the sales process for realtors.
How much experience do you have in buying or selling real estate?
My direct experience as a buyer and seller of real estate is limited, but, because of the 3D renderings my company creates, I’ve been at least tangentially involved in countless real estate sales.
Have you ever made a sell or a purchase you have regretted?
In terms of real estate sales or purchases? No, I cannot say I’ve made any sales or purchases I regret.
What advice would you give inexperienced who are wanting to buy or sell?
If you’re interested in being successful as a real estate buyer or seller, it’s worth taking the time to understand where the industry is headed. In my experience, it’s plain that the industry is about to undergo some serious changes thanks to the virtual reality revolution that’s already begun.
What have you found out to be the best way to market property?
Few buyers will consider purchasing a home without first taking a tour of the property, which limits the number of potential buyers to only those who live close by. When a property is marketed with a 3D architectural rendering, buyers can take a virtual tour wherever they happen to be. That’s why virtual reality is about to radically alter the way the real estate industry markets properties.
What tools do you believe are essential for success in the real estate industry?
Success in any industry requires foresight. Those with foresight in the real estate industry recognize that any future success will depend upon the ability to properly leverage new technologies such as the ones my company provides.
What has real estate taught you about life?
Above all else, people value personal, first-hand experience when making important decisions.
How can you use what you have learned in real estate to succeed in other areas?
The marketing strategies I’ve used to achieve success in the field of real estate can be readily applied or adapted to just about any industry.
Do you have a mentor who taught you what you know?
I’m an avid reader, so I have hundreds of mentors who’ve helped me along the way.
Do you have a feedback system? How does it work?
Absolutely, client feedback is of the utmost importance. We work quickly to meet the needs of our clients and I go to great lengths to ensure I am always available to clients no matter what time zone I happen to be in.
