What do you know about the real estate industry?
I have been working in the real estate industry for many years now. During this time I have found out many ins and outs of the industry. The most important thing that you need to keep in mind is the fact that not everyone is going to have your back. There are a lot of cutthroats will take do their back to take you down. You have to remain vigilant and work harder than them.
Have you ever sold real estate? How did you make it happen?
Selling real-estate for me is very easy since I am an expert. I usually sell real-estate in unconventional ways that people do not normally think about.
One of the best places to look for real estate sales is the Facebook Marketplace. It is here that you will discover a lot of untapped potential in your area.
How much experience do you have in buying or selling real estate?
I have years worth of experience in real-estate. I have learned how to talk to people like they matter. This helps with the selling process and has made me a lot of money.
Have you ever made a sale or a purchase you have regretted?
I like to think that I am a genuine salesman. I do not like to screw over anyone when it comes to selling real-estate. There was one house that I did not advise selling to a potential customer. Unfortunately, they were very persistent at buying it since I am so persuasive.
The house had major structural issues that did not get resolved before the sale. I ended up selling since they wanted the house so badly. They would have to end up paying for expensive repairs that I had warned them about. This is my only regret whenever it comes to selling real-estate.
What advice would Jeff English Hoboken give to inexperienced who are wanting to buy or sell?
I would recommend that they do as much market research as possible. It is important to know what you’re getting into before you just dive in headfirst. You could lose a lot of money if you aren’t properly educated on the industry.
What have you found out to be the best way to market property?
As I mentioned before, Facebook Marketplace is a great way to sell real-estate. However, I recommend referrals with incentives attached to them. Nothing will ever trump the power of word of mouth marketing.
What tools do you believe are essential for success in the real estate industry?
The internet has changed the way that we do business. I recommend that you use as many social media accounts that you can get your hands on. This will help you with your exposure.
What has real estate taught you about life?
It has taught me patience. I used to be a very impatient person who wanted everything right here and now. Real estate taught me that the best rewards come to those who wait for the best deal.
How can you use what you have learned in real estate to succeed in other areas?
Patience can apply to personal relationships and other aspects of life. It is something that will benefit you greatly if you practice it.
Do you have a mentor who taught you what you know?
I do not have a mentor who taught me. I taught myself everything that I know in life. However, I have always admired Tony Robbins and Joel Osteen. They have taught me many valuable lessons from their work.
Do you have a feedback system? How does it work?
I am constantly looking for feedback. It helps me improve. I have a group of real estate agents that gets together frequently. We look at our work throughout the work and give feedback to each other. It is important to feel comfortable with receiving feedback. Some people bottle up what they are feeling and do not want to be critiqued. I am not one of those people since I am very confident in myself.
