I’ve held on to most of my investment properties, and the ones I have sold involved the use of a real estate broker.

My experience is mostly on the investing side of the real estate industry rather than the practical aspects of the buying or selling process.
Have you ever made a sell or a purchase you have regretted?
I’ve never made a sale or a purchase that I’ve regretted, but I have regretted passing on a property in which I should have invested.
What advice would you give inexperienced who are wanting to buy or sell?
It’s best to educate yourself on real estate investment before ever making the decision on whether it is wise to begin the process.
What have you found out to be the best way to market property?
I haven’t had much experience in the marketing side of the business, but the brokers I have worked with in the past have done an exceptional job in creating an individualized approach to marketing a specific property.
What tools do you believe are essential for success in the real estate industry?
Above all else, patience is most essential.
What has real estate taught you about life?
It’s reinforced my belief in the old adage that good things come to those who wait.
How can you use what you have learned in real estate to succeed in other areas?
I have a set of core principles that I apply to all things, from real estate to medical care. Those principles have always served me well.

No, but I do consult experts in the field on a regular basis for their advice.
