What do you know about the real estate industry?
I know enough about the industry that I am able to recognize a developing trend early enough to feel a great sense of confidence in generating a sizable return on my initial investment.

Yes, on multiple occasions. I typically work with a realty company that I respect a great deal.

I’ve invested in real estate with quite a bit of frequency over the years.

Yes, but that’s bound to happen at some point when you invest in real estate properties as often as I have.
What advice would you give inexperienced who are wanting to buy or sell?
Make sure you look at a property from all perspectives before making any kind of evaluation. I try to consider how I would approach the property if I were the buyer, the seller and the real estate agent before I begin the evaluative process.
What have you found out to be the best way to market property?
I think every property is unique and ought to be marketed based on the strategy that is best suited for the individual property.
What tools do you believe are essential for success in the real estate industry?
There is simply no substitute for experience.
What has real estate taught you about life?
In life and in real estate, it’s hard to accurately predict the future. With the right tools, however, you can come pretty close on a consistent basis.

It’s hard to guarantee success in any field, but due diligence surely makes it far more likely.

I mostly learned through personal experience, and I am fortunate things went very well for me very early on.

I developed a system for feedback that works quite well, but it is tailored according to the specific property involved.
