Karl Jobst
A Grove, OK, dentist with one of the most technologically advanced practices in the region, Karl Jobst, DDS, founded Grand Lake Dental with the intention of offering patients in the Grand Lake Area access to a state-of-the-art practice capable of providing an exceptional level of comfort and care across every aspect of dental treatment. Dr.Karl Jobst selected the Grand Lake Area due to its clear potential as a location for a dental practice, but he has also readily admitted that there was an emotional component involved in his choice, as he has been fond of the area ever since he began visiting the Grand Lake Area at a very young age.
In Dr. Karl Jobst, Grove, OK, has a dentist who is deeply committed to caring for patients and has consistently demonstrated his dedication to providing the most outstanding dental care possible each and every day. In fact, Dr. Jobsthas worked with incredible diligence to ensure that when patients see the sign that reads “Karl Jobst, DDS, Grove, OK,”they immediately associate that title with the exceptional dental care the doctor works so hard to provide to all of his patients in the Grand Lake Area and beyond.
Before he founded Grand Lake Dental, Dr. Jobst attended Missouri State University as an undergraduate and then went on to earn his degree in dentistry from the University of Tennessee School of Dental Medicine. Upon earning his dental degree in 1998, Dr. Jobst knew that his future was destined to include Grove, Oklahoma, and the Grand Lake Area, so he opened the practice that would eventually become Grand Lake Dental that same year. In the nearly 20 years since, Dr. Jobst has become a fixture in the community, volunteering his time as often as possible and remaining an active member of his church.
What do you know about the real estate industry?
I’ve invested in real estate for many years now, but I have always relied on input from a friend who is a realtor and really has his finger on the pulse of the real estate market.
Have you ever sold real estate? How did you make it happen?
I’ve never personally sold real estate, but I have sold properties through my realtor friend.
How much experience do you have in buying or selling real estate?
I’ve been buying and selling real estate for almost 20 years, and I have had an interest in real estate ever since going through the process of selecting a commercial property for my practice.
Have you ever made a sell or a purchase you have regretted?
I consider myself very lucky that my investments have all worked out more or less the way I had hoped.
What advice would you give inexperienced who are wanting to buy or sell?
It’s really easy to let your emotions get in the way of a decision, so just take a great deal of care to conduct an honest and objective evaluation.
What have you found out to be the best way to market property?
I’m becoming much more interested in the on-demand realty services that are beginning to be more prevalent, but I’ve always relied on outside assistance for marketing my properties.
What tools do you believe are essential for success in the real estate industry?
There is nothing more valuable than advice from an expert.
What has real estate taught you about life?
Even though I try to remove emotion from buying or selling a piece of property, there are always exceptions to this rule and instances in which relying on instinct can be beneficial.
How can you use what you have learned in real estate to succeed in other areas?
I think the underlying lesson is that there should be an ongoing effort to become more educated on the subject, even when others consider you an expert.
Do you have a mentor who taught you what you know?
Yes, I’ve learned quite a bit over the years working with the same realtor.
Do you have a feedback system? How does it work?
I’ve modified the feedback system I use for my dental practice for my real estate activity, and I’ve found that its simplicity makes it much more likely to generate honest feedback across all circumstances.
